Endogenous foreign bodies in the airway are rare and are usually mucosal origin but are not reported in the literature metal as in our case. Its main complication is postobstructive pneumonia. The ideal way is endoscopic management but in special cases such as surgical reported by thoracoscopy or thoracotomy route is ideal. The bronchoplasty permits removal of foreign body and avoids the need for lung resection.
