    El asma ocupacional es una condición más común de lo que se supone. En algunos países desarrollados esta entidad es la enfermedad respiratoria de origen laboral más frecuente. Esto tiene que alertar a todo clínico debido a que la detección temprana lleva a un mejor manejo y pronóstico del individuo afectado. En esta revisión, se discutirán algunos aspectos en cuanto a su evaluación, tratamiento y prevención.
