Cough is one of the respiratory symptoms more ample in medical consultation, encounter in daily practice a big difficulty for one adequate approach diagnostic, classification and treatment. It can be underestimated in the majority of the cases. Due this, is priority the review of the symptom, covering physiopathology, diagnostic orientation and therapeutic approach.
