In this issue, the Colombian Journal of Pneumology presents an original article in which we once again face the challenge of the pandemic and the SARS-CoV-2 infection. The situation remains unpredictable, although we have learned a lot so far; Progress has been made in the implementation of vaccination in the population, but we still do not have the perfect vaccine; Multiple drugs are being investigated to treat severe Covid 19 infection including controlled clinical trials, but so far the most important therapy is supportive therapy.
