El Comité de Cuidado Crítico de la Sociedad Colombiana de Neumología viene desarrollando documentos de interés para personal médico y paramédico que trabaja en UCI. En los 2 anteriores números de la Revista Colombiana de Neumología hemos publicado dos de dichos documentos: Criterios de Ingreso a UCI y Criterios de Sepsis e Infección Nosocomial.
Continuando con esa línea, publicamos a continuación las guías para la prevención de la Neumonía Nosocomial. Estas guías se realizaron basados en la mejor evidencia disponible hasta el momento.
