Recurrence of thymoma with pleural invasion in a patient with myasthenia gravis and pure red blood cell aplasia: a case report

Resumen

Los timomas son tumores tímicos de células epiteliales, que exhiben en su mayoría diversas características morfológicas. Se conoce de su asociación con enfermedades autoinmunes tales como miastenia gravis, aplasia pura de glóbulos rojos, lupus eritematoso sistémico, hipogamaglobulinemia o pénfigo foliáceo.
Debido a que no es frecuente la presentación de la tríada timoma- miastenia gravis- aplasia pura de glóbulos rojos, se hará la presentación de un caso con la correspondiente discusión y revisión de la literatura.
