Kaposi Sarcoma: Laryngeal and tracheal involvement Endoscopic case and literature review

Resumen

Paciente de sexo masculino de 19 años que consulta por primera vez hace 6 meses, de 60 días de evolución de dolor y masa a nivel anal, valorado de forma extrainstitucional por cirugía general y con diagnóstico de hemorroides externas es llevado a cirugía realizando una hemorroidectomía externa, con el reporte de patología se hace diagnóstico de Sarcoma de Kaposi.


Posteriormente con este diagnóstico es remitido a infectología donde solicitan una prueba de Elisa y Westernblot confirmatoria que reportan positivas para infección por virus de inmunodeficiencia (HIV) además un recuento de linfocitos CD4 de 47 y carga viral de 400.000 copias.
